Meet The Cast

Meet Glitch

Jamey Robert Parker as Glitch

Vocals & Guitar

Biography

Jamey Parker is a long time veteran when it comes to the local scene. Being in a successful local band is hard to come by but Jamey has managed to do it 3 times with his former bands that he created ( Buckshot Henry, Project 13 and PeachPhish), he hopes for one more great run with his new band “Subterfusion “. Jamey has been able to mesmerize the minds of the crowd with his dark lyrics, drawing over hundreds of people at a time, packing every bar in town. He has shared the stage with big bands such as Seven Mary Three, Matchbox 20, Fire House, AfroMan, Nonpoint, Sevendust , Days of the New and many more.

Jamey likes to call himself a songwriter more than a musician but the musician in him always seems to find it’s way through with his songwriting abilities, not only does he write catchy songs, his ability to be a amazing, energetic frontman on a live stage is something that would have to be seen to believe.

With that said, you better believe that Subterfusion is on their way!

Meet The Dead Director

Jason Scott Bradley as The Dead Director

Guitar, Piano & Vocals

Biography

Jason Scott Bradley is a singer/songwriter, whose passion day in and day out is creating original music. Whether it be on his baby grand piano or his favorite beater acoustic guitar, Jason is always on the search for that perfect hook/ vocal melody. While loaded with musical aliases, from The Electric Vulture to Sweet Jason to Lovebird Sweet to The Dead Director they all share one common denominator, the music always comes first… Jason’s previous bands date back to the late 80’s to current with Candy Avenue, Blunt, Lint, Still Wagon, Orange Steele, 39 Stripes, The Electric Vulture and Subterfusion.

Aside from music Jason has produced 3 film documentaries And the bands debut video “Edith”

Sweet Goes Acoustic – a film documentary featuring himself covering songs and performing originals

Resurrecting Father Jameson – a documentary featuring Jamey Parker’s return to music after a 2 yr hiatus leading to the development of Subterfusion

The Electric Vulture: The Razor Wing Experiments – a short film set to Jason’s guitar driven instrumental solo album Razor Wings

Meet DARWIN

Jeff Kehrer as Darwin

Drums & Percussion

Biography

Jeff Kehrer is a psychonaut..visitor of distant realms..explorer of truth and self..his musical reality began in the late 90s with a raw and gritty quintet called Space 22 where he was known as the persona Rey..little is known of this band and you would be hard pressed to find any proof of its existence especially with 40% of its members having passed on to their next journey…rip Joel and Keith..

He would then have a bit of a hiatus while producing and rearing a small human until 2006 when he would run into an old friend from Project 13 fame who was interested in forming an eclectic supergroup which was later known as Peachphish..it is here that his new persona was born….JK Beetskins..and for 5 years they played monthly shows and produced 2 studio albums “Locked in a 69” and “Scratch n Sniff”…this would lead him to meet many great musicians and after their demise he would link up with a solo artist and Peachphish’s bass player to form a cover/original trio called Merry Bom! which produced no studio tracks but a plethora of You Tube performances..here he was known “unofficially” as Thingbanger.

This would teach him versatility which he brought to his current joint Subterfusion where he would begin as the enigmatic Darwin who lives and breathes for new live music. he is the heartbeat and muse for the band, pushing them to reach out and explore different Genres and creative forces within themselves… and the story continues…

Meet Mr. Man clown

Andreas Gleason as Mr. Man Clown

Bass Guitar

Biography

Andreas Gleason is a man of mystery. Half man, half killer clown from… Well that’s just speculation, but what I can tell you about Andy is that he does not disappoint when coming up with clever bass lines that counter and challenge the main guitar riffs or piano lines of any particular song locked in his crosshairs. Mr. Man Clown will not let a show go flat, venturing out into the crowd to play amongst the masses. So step right up and join this musical carnival that is Subterfusion.

Our Tracks & Lyrics

1. Carnival Town.
There’s a little place,
Far away from all the people in the world where they hide
their secrets.
So they gather here.
They try to live a life like you and I but they find their darkness
consumes them.

They all live alone in Carnival Town.
They all die alone in Carnival Town.
There’s no way out of here in Carnival Town.
Forever engraved,
in Carnival Town.

In this little place,
all the Carnies and the freaks will sing and dance to Fire
and Music.
When they gather here,
they try to drink away this Carnie life but find their magic is useless.

They all live alone in Carnival Town.
They all die alone in Carnival Town.
There’s no way out of here in Carnival Town.
Forever engraved,
in Carnival Town.
Carnival Town, Carnival Town, Carnival Town, Carnival Town.

2. Welcome To my brain.
There is something creepy inside of me.
A black fog with a spider in a tree.
The rickety boards will break while the footsteps asleep.
An old man is begging for some money,
under the light funny clown looking scary.
He says, “It’s not over yet until the Carnival sings.”

And they sung,
Lah de dah lah de dah lah de dah de dah de dah lah de dah de dah dah x3
Welcome to My Brain

Father Time killed the clock in the hallway.
Still it chimes on the hour every Sunday.
Children playing while the ghost silently screams.
Fire lit in the furnace in the basement,
beady eyes staring from the melted portrait.
The ceremony will begin when the demons sing.

And they sung,
Lah de dah lah de dah lah de dah de dah de dah lah de dah de dah dah x3
Welcome to My Brain

3. Sun burns out.
I do
I do
I do

I don’t have to
Tell you that I want you
You can tell by the look in my eyes
That I really love you
I don’t want you
To tell me that you need me
I can dig deep into your soul and feel the chemistry
just in case you didn’t know
I love you
and when the Sun Burns Out at night and those words are hard to find you know I do
I do
I do
I do

I don’t want you
To tell me that I hurt you
From all the words I didn’t say
I didn’t mean to
Please don’t tell me
That you really hate me
I don’t think that my heart can take
The bleeding heart ache
Just in case you didn’t know
I love you
And when the Sun Burns Out at Night and those words are hard to find
You know I do
I do
I do
I do

I want to tell you
But I don’t know how to
But if you dig deep into my heart
You know I love you
Don’t take for granted
Our situation
This heart was meant for you I’m your salvation
Just in case you didn’t know
I love you
And when the sun burns out at night and those words are hard to find you know I do

4. Medusa.
There’s a story of a pretty mortal
The curse of beauty would make her blood run cold
Then her body started to change
And her hair turn to slithering snakes
There would be some hell to pay if you looked at her face

Fear for your life
She’s your demise

She’s a Beauty
With the devil’s disguise
She will break you
So never look in her eyes
She will Slither through the night
She will chill you to the Bone
If you look deep in her eyes
She will turn you to Stone

Fear for your life
She’s your demise

Solo

She will sneak you a smile take you down low then you will turn to Stone
She will sneak you a smile take you down low then you will turn to Stone you will turn to Stone

5. Ghost.
Behind this old house
Beyond the dead trees
Lie a grave or two
At midnight you can hear them scream
Even watch them move
You can’t run
You can’t hide
They know where you are

Where did they come from?
why are they here?
Are they the only ones?
And why should we fear?
These are the ghosts
That haunt us
These are the ghosts
That want us for Revenge

Behind This Old House
Lies a mystery
So the story was told
A couple of lives killed for their money
They watched their blood run cold
They can’t run
They can’t hide
We know where they are
Where did they come from?
Why are they here?
Are they the only ones?
Why should we fear?
These are the ghosts that haunt us
These are the ghosts that want us for Revenge

6. Animal.
I look at the world through my window pane
I wanna die
Acceptance is rare will I ever be the same
I asked why
I bleed red just like you
My deformity that I have
Will blind the truth
I am an animal so they say
Will I ever be a part of the human race
I am an animal I can’t change
Should I stay here or wither away
I don’t know

I look at the world through this window pane
I wonder why
The society here
Should be ashamed
Of this life
Dehumanized
Because of you
Your conformity that you have will blind the truth
I am an animal so they say
Will I ever be a part of the human race
I am an animal I can’t change should I stay here or wither away
I don’t know

Save my soul
Save my soul
Just save my soul

7. Carousel.
Hold on tight for the ride of your life
Hold on tight for the ride of your life

Oceans of Madness
Surrounds painted faces
Cotton candy and popcorn and corn dogs in tow
We ride on this Carousel
Round and round our heart races
With the fear in our eyes
As time seems to slow

We stare in the distance
We can hear them all laughing as they hide in the crowd
They watch this Carousel go
The rides moving faster
And the times growing slower will this ride ever end?
I guess nobody knows
Does anybody know

The circus of carnies
Are screaming with laughter as they watch us become
The star of the show
The Carriage and horses are coming alive now
Will we ever survive
As our fear starts to grow

Hold on tight for the ride of your life
Hold on tight for the ride of your life

Round and round we go
Round and round we go
Round and round we go
Round and round we go

8. Aeroplane.
There she will go all alone on her own
She’s waving goodbye to me will she return on her own I don’t know
I’m begging her please

Then she says goodbye
So I wave goodbye x2
To the Aeroplane
Here I will wait for the day
Will she come back to me something inside is telling me not to wait
She’s already gone and changed
And she says goodbye
So I waved goodbye x2
To the Aeroplane

9. Evil Angelina.
Evil Angelina was a girl I knew she had it all but she never knew
a beautiful smile with those beautiful eyes
She will mesmerize you with her lies

There She Goes Again
Don’t mistake her as a friend there she goes again
She will rip your heart out and chew it up and spit it out

Evil Angelina had another side like dr. Jekyll and mr. Hyde
She will mesmerized you and make you realize
She is only here just too bite

There She Goes Again
Don’t mistake her as a friend There She Goes Again

She will rip your heart out and chew it up and spit it out

Evil Angelina
Man she was a demon oh yeah
Evil Angelina
Man she was a demon oh yeah

There she goes again
Don’t mistake her as a friend there she goes again

She will rip your heart out and chew it up and spit it out

Evil Angelina
Man she was a demon oh yeah

There She Goes Again
Don’t mistake her as a friend she will rip your heart out and chew it up and spit it out

10. Sad Clown.
Behind closed doors
There’s a mirror look on through
Another dimension perhaps? or maybe just a padded room

I look inside myself
Is this Heaven or Hell?
The outside precedes me
While my insides drown in a well

I’m a clown
A sad clown
I’m a clown
A sad clown with a balloon

Behind These doors
I’m putting on clown shoes
I’m sitting in the shadows
Here I wait for you
I’m putting on my makeup
I’m drawing on a smile
It’s all just a delusion
Here i sit in denial

I’m a clown
A sad clown
I’m a clown
A sad clown with a balloon

Laughter *solo*

Behind closed doors
There’s a mirror look on through another dimension perhaps?
Or maybe just a padded room

11. Why so high.
Why so high?
Why so high?
Why so high? You are just learning to fly.

Hey Little Bird
Tell me how did you learn
To never Crash and Burn
So much to learn
So little time
We are all here
We live and we die

Why so high?
Why so high?
Why so high? You are just learning to fly.
Hey Little Bird
We watched you fall to the Earth
You showed us not to hurt
I guess this is life
A lesson in time
We all should live like we are going to die

So fly away
So fly away

Why so high? You are just learning to fly

12. EDITH.
I woke up here
In a startling scream
There she was
Just above me
She wore a black veil
And long black wings
Who was she?
And what does she want from me?

She said
My name is Edith
And I’m here to take your soul away
Then she put her lips to mine she took one breath and took it all away

Was this a dream
Or a faded memory?
Was this my conscience playing tricks on me?
For what was a moment
Seemed like eternity
When I looked in her eyes
She whispered back to me

She said
My name is Edith
And I’m here to take your soul away
Then she put her lips to mine and she took one breath and took it all the way

13. Never free.
Locked inside my mind
All alone inside
Scratching at these walls I’m terrified
Pictures in my head
The taste of you I’m Fed dripping down your neck I taste red

I’m never free
It’s time to bleed again
I’m never free
It’s time to feed again

I’m sinking in your skin
I’m hungry for your sins another soul I take it never ends
I whisper in your ear
So let me make this clear
Close your eyes let me in eternal life is near

I’m never free
It’s time to bleed again
I’m never free
It’s time to feed again

Solo

Locked inside this mind
All alone this time
Scratching at these walls it’s suicide
Pictures in my head
The taste of you I’m fed
Ripping down your neck I taste red
Scratching at these walls
I’m scratching at these walls I’m scratching at these walls I’m terrified it’s suicide

14. Dead to the world.
I’m feeling
Uninspired
As the oceans
Bleed into the sky
I am waiting now
For the waves
To come crashing
Down on me now
I’m sick and I’m tired of falling apart
It’s a stab in my heart stopping my heart
I’m sick and I’m tired I’m drowning it all in my pain

I’m dead to the world
I’m dead to the world

I’m feeling
All alone
I’m losing self-control
I’m sinking down
Way too deep
Suffocating now
How can I breathe?
I’m sick and I’m tired of falling apart
It’s a stab in my heart it’s stopping my heart
I’m sick and I’m tired I’m drowning it all in my pain

I’m dead to the world
I’m dead to the world

All Songs Are Written By J. Parker, J. Bradley, J. Kehrer, And A. Gleason.

About The Cast

Subterfusion is a band that formed one day by a group of friends that decided to get together and jam to see what would come out. No expectations. Jamey Parker and Jason Bradley came to the session with cover songs that they each sang. That was ok, but it needed a bit more spark to ignite the flame. Jason, trying to think ahead, wrote something earlier that day to bring as a starting point… a simple guitar part with a curious falsetto melody vocal line. “You know that it’s true. Whatcha want me to do with it…” That was it!!! The guys jammed that over and over for hours. They didn’t have much, but they knew they had it all to win! Thankfully someone had the good sense to record the session, so Parker took that recording home and wrote more parts and main lyrics around it. The next practice it all came together and the band had its first song! “Silence Lay Thick”

Everyone was absolutely stoked! More! That first song triggered a 6 month writing frenzy with daily text messages of song parts flying back and forth between Parker and Bradley, it was head spinning! Each practice the band would arrange and format the ideas into solid songs. Every new song was as strong as the last one. The band had 20 songs in various stages to choose from for their debut album Carnival Town. 14 songs were chosen… Sadly, Silence Lay Thick did not make the album’s cut, rather it was shelved waiting for the next record. “It’s kinda our good luck charm and we want it to be perfectly placed.”- The Dead Director
